Another way to bleach capped teeth?

I have two caps on my two front teeth. I really need to get them bleached but don%26#039;t want to spend the money (well, can%26#039;t spend it right now) on having a dentist do it. Crest White Strips, etc., all say that I can%26#039;t use it on caps, that they need to be replaced. Anyone know of another alternative? I doubt there is one, but I was just curious, thanks!

There is no way to whiten existing caps without simply replacing them. Whitening products could theoretically even damage the finish on your existing caps.

It%26#039;s POSSIBLE (although unlikely) that your caps have some accumulated stain on them - so there%26#039;s some chance that a polish by your dental professional may lighten them somewhat.

Sorry that there%26#039;s no easy remedy to your problem... =-
Reply:|Nope...they have to be replaced. Nothing will bleach fake enamel

on teeth, because the color is IN the substance they use. So get ready to replace the caps...thats the only way to do it..
Reply:Sorry but you have to replace your crowns in order to get the shade change you want. Only your natural tooth will lighten.
