my bottom teeth are a little uneven and so they are discolored in some areas. I have had a tray made for me at my dentists office now I am afraid of hurting my teeth and gumswith the bleach he sold me to take home and use myself. Should I go ahead?

Follow the directions and you will be fine. Just check with the dentist how long you should do this. I did mine and they turned out great. Every six months or so I refresh mine. Very happy with the results.
