Will teeth whitener bleach a rubber doll?

i have an old rubber doll (i think rubber...hard rubber....her face is soft and i can smoosh it though) i want to make pale, she is a good peach color right now. im scared clorox would be too strong and just turn my doll white...so will tooth whitener....lots of it and a combination of lots of sun bleach her enough to be pale and not white?? is there anything else that does the job better and faster?

NO!!! If it is an old rubber doll (they haven%26#039;t used rubber in dollmaking since the 50%26#039;s) please don%26#039;t experiment with it! Rubber dolls deteriorate and there are too few of them left in good condition!





If you mean vinyl, you can bleach it by using Oxy 10 and putting it in the sun. This will also remove ink, eyebrows and lips. It must be completely washed off when done or it will continue to lighten.





Don%26#039;t use nail poish remover!!!! It will melt!





But please be sure your doll isn%26#039;t valuable before you do anything!

Reply:Why use somethign so harsh? Have you tried facial scrub? Something that exfoliates and gets suddsy and cleans might work better.
