Any after effects of teeth whitening?

I'm getting my teeth whitened (professionally, not bleached...not sure what it would be called outer then that lol). Has anyone had this done? What where your side effects if any? And was it a big difference? I have a concert the next day and I'm worried about being able to sing/scream lol, Thanks!

O u'll be just fine. I never done it for me but I've done it for most of my patients and they seemed to be just fine. A slight temp sensitivity for a couple of days is pretty much expected but its usually not that bad. For best result though, use a straw for coffee and red wines. It sound weird but coffee and red wines stain ur teeth very easily. Enjoy ur white teeth^_^

Reply:Yes it makes your teeth very very sensitive for a couple of days. So sensitive that if you breath through your mouth at any time you can feel it on your teeth...You'll be able to scream though.

Reply:I've never had it done, but I know that it can make your teeth kind of sore for a while, but not bad enough to make you unable to sing/scream lol. I'm sure you'll be fine
Reply:my boyfriend got it done and complained about hyper sensitivity and sudden painful jolts. But this only lasted for about 24 hrs. nonetheless he said had he to do over he would not have done it. FYI ever heard people say to never get anything Major done to your appearance before a wedding. That really goes for any important event in ones life. Next time consider giving yourself a bit more time between a procedure and when you are going to be performing or in the spotlight.
