Ive dedided to take the plunge and get my teeth whitened,i think it will give me more confidence when i talk to my customers.
question is ,i dont know the best whitening system.
Would you reccomend tooth bleaching or laser treatment?
Hiya,tooth whitening,laser or bleach,?,,,,,,,,thanks?
Take-home trays will give you good results, it just takes 10 to 14 days to get the desired effect. With the ZOOM! system, your teeth are whitened in-office in about an hour. The cost is about double the take-home kit cost. Plus you have to find the time to wear them and be consistant until you get the desired effect.
If you can afford it, I would say do the in office treatment.
Some patients experience mild sensitivity following the procedure but fluoride will soothe it. And no it will not make your teeth fall out.
Reply:both will make your teeth fall off by the time you're 50.
Reply:ask yourself this.
do you want to look like sherif John Brunelle from worlds wildest police videos?
Reply:bleaching is by far better and less painfull..
Reply:At my dental practice we do both to maximise the effect. We give you bleaching trays to take home two weeks before you come into the surgery to have ZOOM laser whitening, we then send you home and ask you to continue with the trays for a further two weeks then if you need any crowns/veneers/filling replaced due to the colour change we do them at that stage. The trays and Zoom are the same price so if you choose to have one or the other it costs exactly the same as having both done at the same time.
Reply:Speak to your practicioner as not all systems of whitening are appropriate for everyone. The current state of your teeth (Including microscopic fractures) and gums are important factors when deciding, as is cost. Most expensive is not necessarily the right course of treatment for you.
