My teeth have never been "shiny white." I brush my teeth 2 times a day for 3-4 minutes, but it does nothing! Help!!!
How do I get my teeth whiter without getting them bleached?
Here's the deal: brushing your teeth, brushes dirt off of them. If you want to "exfoliate them, add some baking soda to your toothpaste. If you want to whiten your teeth, add peroxide to the mix. You can buy a food grade 35% hydrogen peroxide bleach from the health food store...use just a couple of drops! use it a couple of times a week, you will see a difference!
Reply:Try Rembradnt whitening toothpaste. That stuff really works. Use it for a month. You won't believe your eyes.
Reply:Whiteout
Reply:Try Crest White Stripes .. or their tooth paste for whiter teeth I love it :D
Reply:My dentist told me that the Crest Whitestrips are the next best thing to having your teeth professionally whitened.
Reply:Use a whitening toothpase...there's a lot of safe whitening products out there. Explore!
Reply:Chew on some chalk.
Reply:It's not healthy to have "shiny white" teeth. Brush them with baking soda and salt.
Reply:maybe you should a whiting tooth paste. I have the same problem, I thought about bleaching mines.
Reply:try Crest white strips or the white light.. ive heard those work.
generally though, it is best if you see your dentist he will be able to give you an educated opinion.
Reply:whitestrips
Reply:Use whitening toothpaste.
Reply:Nothing but the bleach available from your dentist will do anything to change the shade of your teeth. Go to your dentist and ask for Zoom Bleach.
Crest Whitestrips and all over-the-counter bleaches are far too dilute to do anything. Zoom bleach is six times more powerful. And forget whitening toothpastes. They don't even contain bleach. Their ingredients don't whiten at all.
Reply:You could try using a mixture of baking soda with your regular toothpaste, but there are toothpaste that already have that in them. You might just have naturally darker enamel. I know my enamel is darker because my mother took a medication when she was pregnant with me. I've had to have my teeth capped, crowned and replaced due to my poor enamel and the discoloration.
Reply:I have no idea but I don't see why profesional whitening won't work.
Reply:Drink strawberry Chou's
Reply:Twice a week I brush with Hydrogen peroxide. I quit smoking, and my teeth were bad. That seemed to help a bunch. Just don't swallow it yo!
Reply:Give a couple of guys some blowjobs. From what I've heard, that can make stuff white. Or drink a lot of milk. But don't brush, or you'll brush the white stuff off.
Reply:I used white crest strips 3 years ago and people still come up to me and say that my teeth are white. My secret was that I had just taken my braces off. The ortho gave me a retainer. At night I would sleep with white crest strips on my teeth and placed my retainer over them to hold them down. The next morning I just take them off and brush. It's probably not the safest thing to do, but that's what I did. Just don't wear the strips right after you brush because IT BURNS. Good luck.
Reply:DEFINITLY A SECRET BUT REALLY WORKS BAKING SODA BUT NOT SALT SALT IS AN ABRASIVE AND WILL SCRATCH THE ENAMEL OF YOUR TEETH SMILE BRITE
Reply:white paint is usually quite good And!!! wait for it......................................... doubles as a meal ,start saving those pennys!
Reply:cut up a strawberry into really small pieces and place the slices over your teeth. trust me! and also, drink cranberry juice! it prevents cavities.
Reply:Baking Soda will help....Dont use it too often though because it can scratch the enamal.
Reply:What's with the craze of wanting to have white teeth? Human teeth ARE NOT naturally white, but they are IVORY.
It is one more of the subliminal messages the media and our society has sent us that unless you are a certain way, you're not a worthwhile human being.
Reply:The only way to get them whiter is by bleaching them. Using baking soda or salt is probably a bad idea long term. They are both abrasives and wear away at your enamel. All toothpastes already contain mild abrasives and abrasives will only remove surface stains anyways.
The whitening tooth pastes and strips are basically dilute versions of in office dental bleaching treatments. Never had any experience with those so I don't have an opinion of them.
Your success with bleaching will be highly dependent on your teeth and the reason for their discolouration. Some teeth bleach quite well others will hardly notice a difference. Once bleached, teeth will slowly regress to their previous shade. Some people also notice that their teeth become sensitive during bleaching. This sensitivity usually goes away after you stop bleaching.
