Can you bleach your teeth ?

with real bleach

like for washing clothes and stuff?

Can you bleach your teeth ?
uhhh...you can but it will eat your enamel. so if you want to have teeth in the future i suggest not to. do this to whiten your teeth for life this realllyworks I do this daily.

ok buy a bottle of 3% hydrogen peroxide. use it as you would normal mouth wash for 1 minute. only 1 cap full. 2-3 times a day.

[it says on the bottle used for mouthwash]

people say this is bad for you. but its only bad if you use 35% or 100% hydrogen perixode. those will eat your enamel. most tooth pastes actually have hydrogen peroxide in them they are listed in ingredence. it takes about 1 week to notice it. they just get whiter and whiter. but not ridiculous.

you can use the crest whitening strips. I hear they really do work, but there expensive. and this is the old-fashend way to do it. and the bottle is only 52 cents. its perfectly healthy. even dentists do this. they just dont tell you because they want your money.

ps: tooth sensitvity is normal, but only for the first 2 weeks. but its only sensitive to like ice cubes and ice cream. so dont worry.
Reply:I wouldn't do that. Bleach contains chemicals harmful to your gums, also I'm sure the Bleach bottle says not to take it internally, which putting on your teeth does, finally, if you must, there are products on the market to whiten your teeth, or see your dentist.
Reply:Sorry, I don't know. I know only the Natre cure, follow these :

Dental care %26amp; mouth care.

After every meal, chew a little salt and gargle with water. Soft brush can be used to clean the particles caught between the teeth and the gums. Make it habit to clean the teeth every morning and before retiring to bed. In India, people use thin twig of a Babul, Banyan or a Neem tree (known as Datoon) as a brush. First it is to be crushed to make it soft and then use it like a brush. It is advisable to us a Datoon of Babul, Banyan or Neem tree at least once a day.

It is reported by experienced dentists that tooth pastes available in the marked are not much effective. Instead, the following tooth powder or paste which can be easily made at home has been found quite useful for the care of gums and teeth :

1. Tooth Powder : Mixture of finely ground alum powder 40% and rock salt or regular salt powder 60%. For better results, a few drops of lemon may be added. In case of dental problems, adding a little of 'Sudarshan' (a bitter Ayrvedic powder is also recommended.

2. Tooth-paste : For dental problems like bleeding, pyorrhoea, toothache, gingivitis, etc. make a paste of

50% alum powder

10% rock salt or table salt powder

10% Sudarshan powder (an Ayurvedic preparation)

15% edible oil (unrefined)

10% glycerine tanic acid

5% camphor.

The paste made of this mixture can be massaged on the teeth and gums in the morning and evening with fingers. It ca be packed in collapsible tubes/jars and used, as tooth-paste.

3. Even massaging the gums with a mixture of 70% unrefined edible oil (seasame or groundnut or coconut), 15% glycerine tanic acid and 15% fine powder of rock salt or table salt is useful for good, healthy teeth and gums. Make it a daily habit. Please not that healthy gums are more useful than sparkling white teeth.

4. Mouth Freshener : Gargling with a lemon juice mixed with lukewarm water, freshens the mouth. Take a quarter of a lemon, massage it on teeth and gums and then gargle with water. Even chewing of mango, tulsi or betel leaves after meals is good, and so it is advised in India.

5. Exercises for teeth : Keep the lips closed. Pound the upper teeth on lower teeth for 30 to 40 times twice a day. Then massage the saliva on gums with the tongue. That will ensure proper blood circulation in teeth and increase the life of healthy teeth and gums.
Reply:No dont use bleach try using that brown bottle of peroxide I think it is 2 % the kind you put on cuts dont swallow it might turn your gums a little white but they will turn back i do this occasionally but dont over do it .Take time to do it right so so a little every other day or so just poor a little in the cap and brush your teeth a little and spit it out let it sit what ever it will work !
Reply:don't ever use laundry bleach on your teeth
Reply:As to bleaching your teeth with real bleach yes you probably

can do it. The problem is what are the effects of bleaching your teeth as far as the chemical make up of bleach. Bleach may be toxic when ingested in to ones system.

There are other safer ways to go -

#1)over the counter teeth products which are safe and whiten you teeth- A dentist could recommend better brands to use.

#2)Dentist can whiten your teeth or point you in the right direction.

Personally I would not use bleach a to the not knowing of the consequence of doing this.I would simply call any dentist in the phone book and ask them what they suggest as the best way to go.The benfit is the call is free.

I hope this has been helpful.
Reply:Good day!
