I have been told its not a good idea to touch up my roots with bleach, but maybe it will work on my teeth?

dude, why bleach? the cool way to get yer teeth blazing white is to use gloss enamel spray paint.... just mask off your face with duct tape and blast the paint into your mouth!* : )
